    Mince Pie 

    Net 100g/pie 

    Deep filled mince pies using locally grown and milled organic Øland heritage wheat flour, Acorn Dairy organic butter and pastured hen's eggs from Newfields Organics. Our in house made mincemeat is made with York grown apples, also contains currants, sultanas, raisins, orange peel, vegetarian suet, almonds and the right balance of spice and brandy. 

    Storage and shelf life:

    Mince pies keep very well when kept in an airtight container. They will last up to five days at room temperature, and much much longer in the freezer. Pies can be refreshed in a medium - hot oven for a few minutes to crisp the pastry again. Perfectly served slightly warm with double cream or clotted cream.

  • Our Christmas Pudding is made with stout and brandy soaked vine fruits, homemade soft candied citrus peel, ground almonds, sourdough breadcrumbs, organic eggs and butter and warming winter spices. Each pudding comes in a foil pudding basin for traditional warming in a water bath. Reheat before serving. 

    Steam in a water bath for approximately one hour, or until it reaches 70C in the core of the pudding.

    Storage: Keep refrigerated for up to 6 months, or freeze for up to one year. Store in an airtight container and check regularly for spoilage if keeping it for long. 

    Comes in a wooden box. All packaging is recyclable and compostable.

  • York Quince Paste is fragrant and full of flavour. It is made with local unsprayed whole quinces (as opposed to just the juice used in Spanish quince paste). This makes it higher in fibre and gives it a more intense taste with a jammy texture. It makes a wonderful sweet accompaniment to cheese or can be enjoyed as an after dinner treat on its own.
