Our tiny bakery-cafe offers a selection of seasonal cakes and tarts all freshly made in-house by Eszter. Made to order celebration cakes available within 7 days notice via the order page. We also serve a variety of hot drinks, including quality loose-leaf tea from Waterloo Tea and fantastic coffees brewed by Paul using Harmony’s locally roasted coffee beans.
We have indoor table and bench seating for up to ten guests, with additional outdoor seating available at our location overlooking the city walls.

Our patisserie is a 15-minute walk from York Train Station. If you are walking along the York City Walls, you can find us easily by taking the steps at Victoria Bar.
For those driving, there is 10 minutes of free parking or one hour of paid parking available directly in front of the shop.
SEASONAL & LOCAL & TRACEABLE
Our main objective is to highlight seasonal, local, responsibly farmed and foraged ingredients in all our cakes and bakes. We want to connect with and support the local food system and the people who work in it. We welcome allotment gluts, we find and pick abandoned fruit trees, and make the best use of windfalls in the autumn. We skilfully turn imperfect but perfectly delicious produce into cakes of art.
