Hello Friends,

this is a bit exciting news! I am finally starting a little shop in York. The location will be 26 Fairfax Street, York YO1 6EB, also know as FAIRFAX CORNER.

I am currently working out how to make the most of this tiny space as a functional bakery as well as a welcoming friendly space for all.

I sincerely hope you will finally be able to take a seat, unwind, and savour a delicious dessert in an environment you deserve.

Eszter Takacs

Eszter Takacs is an artist turned freelance pastry chef, currently based in York, UK.

After studying Fine Art in Hungary and London, she trained on the pastry sections of various fine dining establishments and bakeries in London, Cornwall and Yorkshire.

She founded Shutishuti* Patisserie (*süti, Hungarian word for cake) to create witty reinterpretations of Central European Classics.

She makes bespoke celebration cakes and works with speciality coffee shops in York.
